"Learning and Growing Together in Faith and Friendship"

Our Catholic Values and Virtues

Our Mission Statement

Our Mission Statement, 'Learning and Growing Together in Faith and Friendship' underpins our ethos and mission as a Catholic school. We have taken each of the four key words within the mission statement and elaborated on them to ensure that Jesus Christ, who is our role model of perfection, is at the heart of all we do:

Our Catholic Values and Virtues

Each term, we focus on two of the Birmingham Diocesan Catholic Pupil Profile 'Values and Virtues', which help to teach our children the importance of living as good Christian followers today.  Through these virtues and values, we are encouraging children to demonstrate their faith in their actions to others, bringing joy, positivity and hope to all they encounter. Our values for Autumn 1 are 'Curious and Active'. This half term, we will encourage children to ask questions to help develop their faith understanding and actively live out their faith in their service to God and to others.

The Values and Virtues focus for each half term during the academic year 2020- 2021 are:

Autumn 1:  Curious & Active
Autumn 2: Intentional & Prophetic
Spring 1: Grateful & Generous
Spring 2: Attentive & Discerning
Summer 1: Compassionate & Loving
Summer 2: Faith-filled & Hopeful.

One child from each class who demonstrates the virtues is chosen to receive our Values and Virtues certificate in our weekly Success Assembly.
